The Myelin Repair Foundation (MRF) is changing the world of medical research, starting with developing a myelin repair therapeutic for multiple sclerosis faster than the status quo.
In order to drive its basic research and translate it into faster, more successful treatments for patients, the MRF has launched its Translational Medicine Platform (TMP). This platform is essential for developing a successful myelin repair treatment for MS, and will help revolutionize the entire world of medical research. The TMP ensures discoveries move rapidly out of the lab and into the hands of patients in need, instead of lost in a black hole of scientific research called the Valley of Death.
With your help we can continue to eliminate the Valley of Death to find a cure for MS and revolutionize the entire world of medical research. Help us make a difference and make a gift to the Myelin Repair Foundation today! www.myelinrepair.org

Abortion is extremely common. In America, for example, one in three women will have an abortion in their lifetime, yet the strong emotions sparked by the topic — and the highly politicized rhetoric around it — leave little room for thoughtful, open debate. In this personal, thoughtful talk, Aspen Baker makes the case for being neither “pro-life” nor “pro-choice” but rather “pro-voice” — and for the roles that listening and storytelling can play when it comes to discussing difficult topics.

Riot police are dismantling tents and arresting activists who stayed overnight on Cairo’s Tahrir Square. This follows an earlier mass protest against military rulers who have been in control since President Mubarak was toppled in February. They were demanding the withdrawal of a proposal that declares the military the guardian of ‘constitutional legitimacy’. The protest was arranged by the islamist Muslim Brotherhood, and supported by some secular activists. U.S.-based radio host Stephen Lendman believes military rule could prove to be a greater evil for Egypt, than Mubarak.
